Do you ever get caught up with life, only to later realise that you’ve been holding your breath for a while and finally remember that it’s actually okay to breath? That sigh of relief is heavenly.
I think we are often so busy and caught up planning our future and setting goals, that we can actually forget the here and now. It’s almost as if we forget to enjoy life and to really take in those moments with the people we love. Don’t forget to prioritise what really matters!
A few weeks back, I was sitting in bed doing my morning devotion, when I came across this verse…
‘He who loves silver will not be satisfied with silver;
Nor he who loves abundance, with increase.
This also is vanity.’
I think in life we can get to a point where we are always looking for the next best thing, meaning that we are never satisfied with what we have in that current moment. Remember you’re supposed to be in this exact moment, where you currently are, for your good. So learn from it, appreciate the struggle, keep moving and above all enjoy life. To everything there is a season.
Last week a friend told me to romance life, and that’s exactly what I’ve decided to do!
(Nothing is new/ from this season, however there is nothing new under the sun, so I’m sure you’ll be able to find something similar if you like the look).
