The church should be perfect, but it isn’t.
Dear all non- Christians/ non-church goers. I liken students to church goers. There’s different types. Some attend lectures, some attend church. Some listen to lectures, some listen to sermons. Some do homework, some read/ study God’s word (the bible).
There are different types of Christians. But what we all have in common is that we can all be hypocrites. None of us are perfect. Some of us go to church to socialise. Some of us go to church to be changed. Some of us are changed, but still make mistakes in our conduct. Please forgive us for not representing Christ as we ought to. We are trying.
I am not perfect. I am trying. Not everything I write will be perfect. I believe God convicted me to do this, so I’m doing what I believe is required of me.
The thing about God is, he knows we aren’t perfect, but he still chooses to use us where we are anyway. And for that I am grateful, otherwise none of us would ever be good enough to be given the name Christian.
Even though I acknowledge that we aren’t perfect, this is still not an excuse for us Christians to do whatever we want to do and misrepresent what we claim to believe. If you aren’t Christian and we have done this, on behalf of all of us… Sorry.
